I am writing this blog as a long term sufferer of Keratoconus in both eyes. Keratoconus is a degenerative disease which causes the cornea to become cone shaped and thinner. My left eye also has scarring on it due to an ulcer several years ago. I have no sight in the eye just dark and light and the transplant is my only hope of seeing in this eye. It starts from the bottom upwards.

Ouch!
Last night I managed to rub my eye by accident and then poke it about half hour later. I went to bed with it streaming and I have to say was a little worried. It is sore today but not red or anything just really uncomfortable :(
I am a 28 year old woman who has suffered from Keratoconus for 12 years. I work for The University of Kent in the Innovation and Enterprise Department and am married to a wonderful man named Tim.
