I am writing this blog as a long term sufferer of Keratoconus in both eyes. Keratoconus is a degenerative disease which causes the cornea to become cone shaped and thinner. My left eye also has scarring on it due to an ulcer several years ago. I have no sight in the eye just dark and light and the transplant is my only hope of seeing in this eye. It starts from the bottom upwards.

Grafted eye 13 days on
This is my eye 13 days on. It is looking really good, all the redeye is gone. The stitches are not visible to human eye but in some lights you can see the transplant as a circle. I will see if Tim can get a better pic!
Your eye looks great lucy. Wish mine looked like that. Saying that, you got a 10 days head start on me. I hope mine looks better soon. You seem to be doing great though. Keep it up
